Eye lash problem

Just read your blog about the eyelashing. Usually if it's a problem showing on the back, the problem is the top thread and vice versa. I"m sure you've done these things, but here goes. Re-thread your top thread - sometimes the thread comes out of the tension disks. New Needle Try a different spool of thread Clean the bobbin case for stray threads, lint I have one of those slippy sliddy things but have never used it. I"ll bring it next week and you can give it a test drive. By the way, Joyce, we missed you at lunch on Tuesday!

  1. Sorry about the lack of punctuation and line breaks in my post. Been awhile since I've posted, so obviously some editing skills are needed. I suppose I could go in and edit, but that might create more problems than solutions. Hope it makes sense.

  2. Thanks for your tips, Nancy. I already tried them all. It seems to be going better today but it's a fine line between getting the right tension on the top and adjusting my hand speed. The slightest change and my stitches get tiny and the thread breaks. But no eyelashes today, thank goodness. I just took a break and am going back upstairs now to do some more. I can see I will have to spread the quilting over several days for this one.
