On December 19th we had our last TAQ get together at the Double One Chinese Restaurant on Hastings Street in Burnaby Heights. Unfortunately the block is being developed and the restaurant will be closing it's doors after 35 years. Most of us remember the Chinese New Year's celebrations and Burnaby Children's Fund fundraisers organized Joyce, Michi and Arlene. Those were really fun occasions. We will keep our fingers crossed that they can find a new location and carry on.

Hope they find a new location. We have so many fond memories of our quilting get together there over many years.
